Mann and censorship

I like photos of her family. It is spontaneous process to take the photos during children have grown up. I have never thought those were sexualized or exploitive. Children seemed to enjoy this process. It's very good way to memorize family's history. I mean they can remind their childood easily when they will becoma adults.
When I saw her photos of dog bone, I did not recognized what that was. She has very special point of view than than the other people. These photos can allow us to imagine that whatever we want. There are no limitation of human imagination. Many people have never thought those were dog bone if they listened aboul something about these photos.
She just go somewhere and pick them up whatever. If she take photos, it does not mean that she is interested in those. They just existed there on her way.
Every artists should have freedom of expression. They should share their idea and opinion with the public. Anybody, even the goverment, cannot interfere and obstacle their works.

  2. Hey Duhwan,

Great post! I like how you are focusing on the imagination of the artist, and how that in turn encourages or widens the viewer's understanding of imagination and possibility. Also, you are correct in pointing out that the children seemed to enjoy having their photos taken, something critics have overlooked?
